The Tour begins in the morning at scenic Rice Park in Kula with a friendly
get together and Continental Breakfast. Then we board our Luxury Touring Van
and head to the starting area for the bike tour at the entrance to Haleakala
National Park. We will have a safety briefing and then you will be custom
fitted and familiarized with your own 24 speed Trek Comfort Bike. You will
be outfitted with all the necessary safety gear. We have a practice area for
you to get comfortable riding your bike. When you are comfortably ready, you
begin the first descent down the 21 switchbacks through Haleakala Ranch, at
your own pace. Our first stop is at spectacular Scenic Lookout for some
great photo shots.

Distance: 33 miles, 6-7 hours (this is not the riding time).

RESTRICTIONS:
Minimum Height is 4’10’’, minimum age 14. Competent riders only - Please, No beginners,
this is not the place to learn to ride a bike. You must be able to confidently and
competently ride a bicycle, with hand brakes on roads with vehicular traffic. In
addition you need to be able to follow many written and verbal Safety Rules,
Instruction and abide by the Traffic Laws at all times.

Throughout the Tour you ride at your own pace and stop as often as you like.
The Tour Van will be following nearby at all times for your convenience. At
our second stop, Sunrise Market & Protea Flower Farms you may checkout their
exotic Protea flowers. Upon each stop on the Tour there will be water provided
and safety information and directions on the road ahead. There are several
optional routes for more avid cyclists, who would like to ride some extra miles.
Our third stop is at Keokea (aka China Town), where we ride on less traveled
country roads. The final descent is to The Maui Winery which is the favorite on
the entire Tour. It is hard to believe, but scenery just gets better and better
as we descend to the Winery. There at the beautiful setting of the Winery, we
will enjoy a Deli Style Lunch. In addition you may visit the Tasting Room and
sample their Wines.What sets us apart from all the other Tours is our relaxed
pace, stunningly beautiful route, smaller group sizes and great personal service.
We promise our Tour to be one of the highlights of your visit to Maui. Unlike
other Tours, we will cancel the Tour if the weather is bad.
